Gilchrist Olympio, the leader of the main opposition party, is having a very bad day. Gilbert Bawara, the young and soft spoken Minister of Cooperation, used an interview on Togoforum to go after him with a hammer. What does Bawara think of Olympio? “He is a liar”.
Gilbert Bawara : Je ne veux pas le qualifier de bonne où de mauvaise foi. Mais je constate que c’est un chef de parti qui est habitué á l’intoxication et á la désinformation. Le moment venu nous ferons l’état des lieux pour dire la teneur des discussions qui ont eu lieu et quelles étaient les disponibilités pleines et entières manifestées par le Président de la République. »
